"In Oakland, February 10, 1940, John Patrick, dearly beloved husband of Maud Montague Carr, loving father of Mary Maude Carr, Mrs. Kathleen Carney and Joseph M. Carr, beloved brother of William A and Helen Carr and Mrs. Winifred Liebacher; a native of Massachusetts.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Tuesday Feb 13, at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home of Freeman & Col-Roach & Kenney, Telegraph Ave. at 27th St. Oakland. Thence to the church of St. Teresa, Manila Ave. near Broadway, where a requiem mass will be offered for the repose of his soul, commencing at 10 a.m. Recitation of the rosary Monday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery."
