Obituary - Orange Johns

"Native of County Dies at Home Near Newark on Sunday"
"Orange Johns, aged 51, a native of Coshocton co., died Sunday afternoon at his home north of Newark when he was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage as he stepped to the porch at his home

He was born July 26, 1881, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chambers Johns. For the past 20 years he had lived at Newark, where he was employed by A.B. Crawford as manager of a dairy farm. He was a member of the Neal Av. M.E. church at Newark.

Surviving are his wife, who formerly was Cora Bell Steffee; his mother, who lives at New Castle; four brothers, Benjamin Johns of Brandon, Oscar Johns, a twin brother, Harry Johns of West Carlisle; six sisters, Mrs. Linnie White of Pueblo, Colo, Mrs. Cora Rollins, Mrs. Nellie Garrison and Miss Molly Johns all of New Castle, and Mrs. William Crumrine and Mrs. Zella Shepard both of Newark.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home, with Rev. T.R. Watson and Rev. Carl F. Wittman officiating."
