"Funeral services will be held in the Nellie Evangelical church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Mrs. Louisa Metham, aged 73, widow of Austin J. Metham, formerly of Nellie, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. C. McNabb of Delaware. Burial will be made in Valley View cemetery at Warsaw.
Three years ago Mrs. Metham was stricken with paralysis and had never recovered from its effects.
She was born in Bakersville, and her girlhood was spent in that vicinity. Later she moved to Plainfield, where she resided for many years. She was formerly a school teacher.
Thirty-eight years ago she was married to Mr. Metham. For some time she had made her home with her daughter in Delaware."
