The casket bearers were Clair Duncan, Jake Lockart, Allie Burgener, Will Workman, Elmer Mathias and Frank Hoewing.
Interment was in Salem cemetery.
It was very unique in that the funeral entourage from the Stine Funeral Home to the cemetery passed so many places associated directly with Mr. Osborn's life in Illinois.
The Radford elevator in which he was employed at one time. Radford store where many of the family's groceries were purchased, two farms previously owned by him, the farm where his
ten children were born, the church and school he attended were among these connections. As nearly as can be determined, Mr. Osborn's body reposed during the funeral service within a few feet
of where he was born. The Osborn homestead was originally located on the present site of Fame church.
