"Moweaqua - Charles L. Younker, 63, of Moweaqua died 11 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 27, 1988) in his home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation after 1 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Moultrie County Memorial Park. Memorials: Sullivan First Church of God.
Mr. Younker was born in Shelby County, son of Charles W. and Fern Younker. He was a security guard with Borg Warner Automotive Inc., Decatur, and was a member of Sullivan First Church of God. He married Betty Kidwell in 1949.
Surviving are his wife; son, Charles W. of San Francisco, Calif.; Terry of Moweaqua; daughter, Donna Melluzzo of Effingham; brothers, Wayne of Hawaii; Lynn of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Cora Farris of Mattoon; seven grandchildren."
