"Blue Mound - Glenn L. Younker, 76, of Blue Mound died 6:04 p.m. Tuesday (July 14, 1987) in Springfield Memorial Medical Center.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Blue Mound United Methodist Church. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday in Ater Funeral Home, Blue Mound. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, near Blue Mound. Memorials: Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Mr. Younker was born in Moultrie County, son of Richard and Flora Younker. He was a retired farmer and is the owner and operator of Younker Mobile Home Park, Blue Mound. He was a member of Taylorville Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. He married Claramae Lewis in 1933.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Dick of Taylorville; Donald of Blue Mound; Edward of Fritch, Texas; daughters, Mrs. William (Marjorie) Robinson of Decatur; Mrs. Charles (Glenda) Brooks of Mount Zion; brother, Virgil of Moweaqua; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
One son, one sister and one grandchild preceded him in death."
