"George Yunker, 61, of Sycamore, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb.

He was born March 27, 1935 in Windsor, Ill., the son of Harlan and Lucille (Edwards) Yunker. He married Susan Wessels on June 12, 1955 in Sycamore. He was a graduate of Sycamore High School and was a former advisor for Sycamore High School agriculture programs. He was the former owner of Five Points Agriculture Service for 27 years and was formerly employed by Arison Implement Company. He also served in the U.S. Army with the 86th Regiment in 1955 and 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Yunker of Sycamore; two daughters, Glenda (Chuck) Stowe of Sycamore and Jeannine (Matt) Harvell of Maple Park; one son, Russell (Shari) Yunker of Sycamore; his father, Harlan Yunker of Sycamore; three brothers: Thomas (Phyllis) Yunker of Sycamore, Jerry (Marilyn) Yunker of Peoria, and Larry (Dorothy) Yunker of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; four sisters: Donna (Ez) Lindelof of Sibley, Ill., Clara (Wallace) G'Fellers of DeKalb, Linda (Bill) Butler of New Hampshire, and Darlene (Rich) Boyles of Sycamore; and four grandchildren: Ashley and Amanda Stowe, Lindsey Yunker and Bailey Harvell.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m., at Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, 1245 Somonauk St., Sycamore. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 22, 5-8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

A memorial fund is established for the Heart Fund in care of Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home."
