"Moweaqua - Robert L. Younker, 66, of Moweaqua died 4:46 p.m. Friday (May 31, 1996) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, Moweaqua.
Mr. Younker was born in East Chicago, Ind., on April 6, 1930, the son of Virgil and Vera M. O'Kelley Younker. He was a farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Moweaqua, Short Circuit Ostomy Club of Decatur and Shelby County Farm Bureau. He married Marilyn Widick on Nov 24, 1951, in Springfield.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn; son, Jeff and wife Tammy of Moweaqua; daughter, Judy Rice and husband John of Forsyth; father, Virgil of Moweaqua; grandchildren, Dalton and Oliva Younker of Moweaqua; Jim, Bridget and Colleen Rice, all of Forsyth; brother, Leon of Decatur; Ralph of Warrensburg; sister, Betty Smiley and husband Edward of Bloomington; Louise Boyer and husband Don and Pamela Shewmaker and husband Steve, both of Moweaqua.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister."
