"Orville F. Younker, 69, of Hewittville died Saturday (Sept. 16, 1978) in an auto accident in Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sherwood Funeral Home, Assumption, with visitation after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.
He was born near Windsor, son of Fred and Myrtle Younker. He was a farmer and a member of the Blue Mound Methodist Church. He married Martha Pollard in 1931.
Surviving are his wife; son, Orville Jr. of Buena Vista, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Lorne (Eileen) Matthews of Hewittville; brothers, Roy of Ramsey; Burl of Pana; sisters, Mrs. Leora Snyder of Moweaqua; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death."
