"RAMSEY - James L. "Roy" Younker, 83, of Ramsey died 7:58 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 23, 1987) in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery. Memorials: Fayette Heart Fund.
Mr. Younker was born in Kingfisher, Okla., son of Fred and Myrtle Younker. He was a retired farmer and a member of Temple Baptist Church of Vandalia. He married Mildred P. Rainey in 1927.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Herb of Vandalia; Donald and Kenneth, both of Ramsey; Ralph of St. Elmo; daughter, Mrs. Wilbert "Junior" (Pauline) Miller of Ramsey; brother, Burle(sic) of Pana; sister, Leora Snyder of Moweaqua; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
One son, two daughters, two brothers and one grandchild preceded him in death."
