"Laura E. Berry, 84, of Wood Hill Towers, Bloomington, died at 4 p.m. Friday (July 4, 1986) at Evanglow Lodge Nursing Home, Pontiac.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beck Memorial Home with the Rev. Forrest Stone officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1902, at Windsor, a daughter of George and Minnie Stanley Yunker. She married Thomas Berry Oct. 15, 1923, at Bloomington. He died Dec. 30, 1977.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas Jr., Bloomington; Omar C., Heyworth; Raymond E., Arlington Heights; and Irvin C., Jeffersonville, Ind; one brother, Harlan Yunker, Sycamore; one sister, Capitola Pharis, Normal; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Mrs. Berry was affiliated with the Methodist faith."
