"Mrs. Martha "Onie" Younker, 79, of ... (address intentionally deleted), died Friday afternoon in St. Mary's Hospital following a short illness.
A native of Shelby County, she was the daughter of late James S. and Mary Estella Rains Salmons. She lived 19 years in Shelbyville before moving to Centralia, where she was a member of Faith Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Wills Younker; son James S. Younker Sr., Centralia; daughter, Mrs. Estella McDaniels, Centralia; a brother, Arthur Salmons, and sis, Mrs. Rella Bly, both of Shelbyville; four grandchildren and a foster-grandson.
Services will be today at (unreadable) p.m. in Faith Metodist Church with Rev. Eugene F. Black officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Quenn-Bogg funeral home until 11 a.m., and after 11:30 a.m. in the church."
